Lake Taneycomo Fishing Report on 18th Aug, 2026

It's been 5 trips since my last report and the fishing has been hot they stocked yesterday and we started at 7 am this morning and my repeat clients 2 old Navy buddies put 100 Rainbows in the boat on the pink power worm we have also ran up and drifted when the generation has been running this week as well as drifting in the debris line with the pink power worm I've had the pleasure to fish with some awesome clients this week and as always God has blessed us this week !

It been a few days since my last report lets catch up its been the usual Aug. temps so the Trout fishing has been better when the generation has came on we have manly used a drift rig and the pink worm under a float for the Rainbows we are catching . As always giving God the Glory ! He's just that Good!

Lake Taneycomo Fishing Report on 29th Jul, 2026

My group from Wisconsin and I hit the water at 8 am this this morning out of Scotty's Trout Dock and with no generation scheduled untill noon today we went Bass fishing on lake Taneycom this morning and we got blessed with a lunker and several other Bass then we ran up the lake just before the generation started and we drifted up several nice Rainbow Trout today God blessed us again today for sure.

Captain Ronnie delivers non-stop trout thrills at Table Rock!

Non-stop bites all day long! Mark and their crew joined us for a summer morning adventure starting around 8:00 am with partly cloudy skies and storms possible throughout the day we worked the waters around Scotty's Trout Dock the conditions were perfect for our 4, Hour Adventure with Captain Ronnie on Lake Tansycomo through Fish On Guide Service.

With just a single unit of generation running again this morning we set out of Scotty's Trout Dock and the pink power worm was our bait of choice we bounced around to several spots during our 4 hour trip and it payed off with limits of Rainbow Trout . I give God the credit he's good all the time !

Captain Ronnie delivers steady trout fishing on Lake Taneycomo!

One for the books today! Adam and their crew joined us for a summer morning adventure on the water in Branson, Missouri starting mid-morning with partly cloudy skies overhead. Water conditions in Branson were looking good for our outing and we had five anglers ready to get after it on our 2-Hour Morning Lake Taneycomo Adventure with Captain Ronnie through Fish On Guide Service. With our gear rigged and ready, we focused our efforts on trolling, drift fishing, and bottom bouncing techniques to target Rainbow Trout in the lake waters. Lake Taneycomo Fishing Report on 9th Jul, 2026

It's been a great week ot trip's starting on July 4th with a awesome family from Louisiana who could flat fish we started out Bass fishing on Lake Taneycom and timed it to go drifting in the generation then i had a blast with the guys from Indiana and then my clients from Oklahoma who are like family now came early for the pink worm bite with zero generation and finally today this group of redheads came with their family on a pontoon trip for Scotty's Trout Dock and we hit it perfectly as they started generating power and they boated 25 total including a 19 in beautiful rainbow. We were blessed this week with lots fish and 3 big Rainbows. Got to give God the credit his timing is always perfect he puts us in the right place at the right time he's just that good!!

Had the opportunity to fish with some incredible people this week including a Sheriff Deputy from Farmington and his son yesterday afternoon we drifted in the 4 units of generation and is was a steady bite 22 Rainbow Trout including his 5.5 lbs 23 in Rainbow the morning trip was with a teacher for Fayetteville Arkansas and her son woh wanted to go Trout fishing then try some Bass fishing and final a couple of repeat clients who wanted some Rainbow Trout for the smoker thanks so much everyone enjoyed your company. God is good all the time!!

Table Rock Lake Fishing Report on 25th Jun, 2026

Had several trips this week and it's been awhile since I posted a report today we started at 6:00 am on Table Rock it's been a week or so since I've been over there we started out throwing a top water and boated some nice large mouths and a decent small mouth after that slowed down we started fishing deep with a spoon and boated our best fish of the day all these fish a gorging on shad . On lake Taneycom this week it's been drifting in 4 units of generation mostly and running down lake to Bass fish in the creeks with the generation running it's put some higher levels of water and the Bass have liked it.

Took my clients this morning on a family pontoon trip at 7am out of Scotty's Trout Dock and we drifted up limits of Rainbows then we switched up this afternoon and went Bass fishing and we boated lots of Large Mouth Bass this afternoon.

Had a blessed week with many people this week my group from Washington State boated 60 Large Mouth on Lake Taneycom on a 8 hour trip then booked a 8 hour trip for Table Rock the next day and what a Top water bite they had i also had many trips for Rainbow Trout this week as well and God blessed my family from St Louis with a great time my old friend from Oklahoma also had a great time hooking up with 20 Rainbow Trout. God is good all the time!!

It's been a great week for me on Taneycom with several days of limits of Trout and several nice Bass as well. My clients from Ohio met up with me at 6 00 am today and we got right on the Bass and then Later on we went drifting in the 2 units of generation for several Rainbow Trouts including a 20 in Rainbow.

With one unit of generation scheduled for today we were surprised with 2 units changing everything planned but I was prepared with 4 drift rig rods in the rod box already rigged up and we had no problem switching gears and drifting in the 2 units and the Rainbow Trout bite was steady we all limited out this morning.
