With the time change we settled on a 6:30 am time to start the trip my clients from Indiana and I targeted trout feeding in pods on the top throwing past the feeding trout and bringing a little Cleo throw the pods we had boated around 12 or so Rainbows seeing what seemed like larger fish jump and splash we kept moving around following the fish we had no current and very over cast sky's with drizzle we dialed in the fish with my Lowrance Active Target unit which let us watch multiple trout in real time we targeted the ones active and rising to the top after we had a brake off and I switched her to a trout-pattered Cleo that sealed the deal she hooked the 30 inch German Brown Trout and battled it for over 10 minutes before we got it in the net then we made every attempt to revive and resuscitate the fish, but after such an intense battle , it succumb to exhaustion and could not be revived it was truly a catch of a life time for her, God truly blessed us again on the water and I give him all the Glory!

We used a 7 ft TFO rod with a Bass Pro micro lite reel and 2 lbs line .

Men's retreat weekend.

Had the pleasure of taking my brothers in Christ in town for a men's Bible study weekend and wow did we get blessed we boated over 25 Rainbows and a 4 lbs sucker in a 2 hour trip all which all went to the grill for lunch . Earlier in the week I had several trips including a Birthday trip that had my client from Louisiana boating a 19 in beauty of a Rainbow she released and several other trips that sent Trout to the grill . God is good all the time!

We used a 7 ft Bass Pro Shop Micro Lite rod and reel combo with 2 lbs line.

Two in a row.

We headed out of Scotty's Trout Dock at 11 am today and went right back to the split shot rig again and Wendi hooked in to a 23 inch 5 lbs German Brown the second one in two days we ran it over to Lilly's Landing for the trophy Trout award we also boated several Rainbows for the grill.

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Logan and I headed out on Lake Taneycomo this fall morning for our 2-Hour Morning Lake Taneycomo Adventure with Captain Ronnie. Clear conditions throughout the day made for perfect fishing weather on the lake. We launched early morning with Fish On Guide Service ready to work the productive waters around Branson, Missouri.

Once the stage was set, we put our spoon, fishing, and bottom fishing techniques to work across the lake. Logan boated some nice Rainbow Trout, and Brown Trout during our morning run. Lake Taneycomo is awesome for these techniques because the cold water releases from Table Rock Dam keep the trout active year-round, and the lake structure holds fish in predictable spots. We wrapped up the trip with great catches and smiles all around with a 22inch 5lbs German Brown Trout weighed in at Lilly's Landing for the trophy trout award.

If you're thinking about coming out to Branson, Missouri for some Lake Taneycomo trout fishing, our Fish On Guide Service team knows these waters inside and out. The Branson Guided Trout Fishing Charter Morning trips are perfect for anglers wanting to experience what Lake Taneycomo has to offer. We use a spoon, drift fishing, and bottom fishing techniques that consistently produce Rainbow Trout, and Brown Trout in these cold tailwaters.
